| | | 'Balls deep, motherfucker' Except it's supposed to be said 'BALLS DEEP, MOTHERFUCKER.' A delightful phrase my friends like to shout out in the middle of the night while writing a paper or studying for a test.
That's exactly how I feel.
This is the home stretch. I am finally finishing my thesis tonight (into tomorrow afternoon). Pray that I don't get that weird bug going around called SLEEPINESS.
Tomorrow I will look like a combination of: and

It's not so much Tourette's as the realization that you are so totally fucked. I'm at the computer lab so I can't exactly yell out profanities. I take comfort in the fact that in exactly seven days I will be done with college. Until then
I wonder where c0ry is.

| | | put simply: the conversion of the great mosque of cordoba into a cathedral in the thirteenth century
on a more complicated level it is trying to dispel this idea of muslim v. christian control or enemy v. protector idea that is inevitably formed if you look at pure architectural history. currently i am writing the section drawing the parallels between the great mosque of damascus and this building...and how relevant those were even in the 10th century.
i took such a detour this past april that ive been writing, rewriting, and editing page after page every day. my advisor will read my stuff in the morning and i will have that chapter cleaned up by the evening. so probably around 9am tomorrow he will read this and by 6 chapter four will be corrected. im sure you dont care but this paper has taken over my life these past few weeks. makes me wish i was back in spain.

I wonder where c0ry is. | the other day i did that. i had a massive stress, so i ran around the house 5 times and did some crazy arm movements and found out the thing i had to do was due 4 hours later than i thought. so i finished it. badly, but i did.
you'll be ok, and it will be worth it

| | | yeah, most of all ive deeply appreciated my advisor's commitment to me and to my work. after my crisis he asks, 'what do you need from me?' i said 'patience' and he said, 'you have all the patience in the world from me.' so he is getting me through this. after reading my third chapter yesterday i think he felt more at ease. he thought it was my finest work yet. on monday i have a thesis defense. im looking forward to it. i like presenting my work...especially if i feel like ive been a human incubator and only now have had the chance to birth this thing.

| | | I'd pay to hear you say 'balls deep, motherfucker'. I don't think I've ever heard you say 'motherfucker'. You should watch more Tarantino films and get some practice.

Mostly, though, I am so fucking glad to be almost done. I feel like I've reached the end. I have no more to give. Quote:
