I meant to send a text to my friend about another friend (nothing too bad), but instead sent it to the person it was ABOUT. then i sent another one straight away to try & cover it up but i think i made it worse & embarassed myself

I did that with an email once or twice, but I've never done it with a text. I have sent texts to the wrong people, but luckily I don't have any "enemy" friends who are right after each other in the alphabet. "Beth" and "Jackie" are well apart.

i onced accidentally texted some "sassy" to this boy who i used to be best friends with until he confessed his love for me and then i was like ew and we didn't talk for like 6 months. i sent it three times because i was drunk and it was for another boy. my phone has a resend button and a forward button so each time i tried to forward it to the right boy i pushed resend instead. then he called me like 7times and i had to CANCEL each time

Ive done that with an email. I had this funny conversation on msn with this girl I didn't like, and I added in some comments on the email about her, and then accidently click on her name rather than the boy I was sending it to. I found it funny and didn't worry too much about it.

If he asks you about, just be confident and sort of rude maybe? And try and turn it around? Maybe say, obviously the text wasn't meant to go to him and he is nosey for reading it more than once?

Pretend that you were just joking around and that you didn't really mean it. Then tell him that it was in really rather poor taste and that you're sorry you sent it to him.

A friend actually sent a msg to my phone one night, telling someone else a secret I told him. I called him later on after like a hour of working myself up and then he was like 'hahah, yeah I did that as a joke and then left it a bit late to tell you hey, did you laugh'. I TOTALLY DO NOT BELIEVE HIM. Since then I have paid EXTRA attention to what he says and have picked up on a whole trolley full of lies.

Maybe he has that 'Stockholm Syndrome' that everyone is talking about.

I was very awful to him for a long time after that, I constantly remind him of his faults and I am just generally rude to him. I always bring it up if Im wrong about something to erase my faults and turn it around. Its amusing to me.

exactly.. but there's no point lying about this, I kind of believe that it's better to be honest in these situations and i really have nothing to hide. i wasn't talking behind his back, it was just something that i was pointing o ut to someone and it probably sounded weird because he isn't aware of the context of the conversation. If I were saying mean things about one of my 'friends' and they got the message I'd be getting what I deserved.
anyway no i'm not going to be rude to him because we're pretty good friends like i said, it was one thing that could have been taken out of context & made me stress

a friend and my mother both have names starting with the letter g.anyway me and my friend were sending each other jokey texts back and forth, anyway for some reason i deleted his so i went to send a new text, pressed g in my address book and without looking selected the first name in my address book under g ( i was drunk).....................and sent my mother a text saying ' you cunt' !!!!!!!!!!!!! i dont think she ever forgave me for that lol
