i'm posting this first example, introducing you to the various sounds of German
(it took ages to put this together, i was bored, but i think the topic in general is super interesting).
Can you tell differences? How do these sound in your ears? (For most of the videos it's enough to watch/listen into
the first few seconds).

and now please, someone link me sound examples of accents in your country. they don't have to be that assy detailed as mine, i'd just REALLY like to learn to tell a difference. language is strange. and yet so intriguing.

Mine sounds closest to this ^^^^ A typical northern United States New England-ish accent.

While I don't live in Boston, when you live with someone for 10 years from there...it sort of rubs off on you.

that new jersey one is wrong i tell you. WRONG WRONG WRONG
