what have you learnt today?

i have learnt:

i don't like philosophy
that there are two ways to put wooden floors down depending on whether you want to avoid redecorating the whole room or not
that some people do not change (i knew tihs but it's something you have to relearn isn't it)
that i like finding out things that i like or don't like, even if that means for example taht i have to endure a 3 hour film that i don't like. i like knowing afterwards that i didn't like it because i am ME.
the nhs is ****
if you have to do something you don't want to do your mind & body will resist as much as possible

now tell me what you have learnt.

i always try to change people and never learn that its just not going to happen.

today i learnt that stoke doesn't actually exist.
and that i'm now a size 14. i'm actually quite happy about this, because when i was a 12 i thought 'with a bit of effort, i could be the perfect 10' but never managed to motivate myself to do it. now its far too much bother and i don't have to worry about it, i can just be a happy fatty.

I learned that, although tolerance, patience and understanding are worthy, admiral human qualities, some people just need their eyes stabbed out.
