| | | see this is why we need an animal forum (with a cat/kitten sub-forum)!
i had no idea they weren't baby sharks, i just always assumed they were. sortof like miniature horses, but you know, with gills.

They dart around really fast and hang about in schools if there are many.
Although some people do keep sharks in salt tanks like little wobbegongs or carpet sharks.
The coolest fish I ever had was a Sooty Grunter... he used to wake me up with his grunting in the night. So weird that a fish could make a sound like that.
At the moment we just have a big fucker of a Jack Dempsey cichlid. Had a Murray Cod (called Chopper) that someone I knew caught and was keeping in a way too small tank but after about a year of getting healthy and big again we released him in the river to swim with his buddies. |

| | | Well. Uh. Not all sharks are 10 foot long and eat humans. Most of them are able to actually be put in tanks for display. Where I used to work (Sharks football club!) has 3 sharks in a tank. I dunno what they are, but they're awesome. |

| | see i dont think it was a dogfish - and BleedingHeart I'd agree - dogfish are fab fish!
and i looked up the bala shark and it didn't look like that either
it was sort of grey in the body and dark fins
it was a fab fish
