Dream Manual (replacement) Sleep Spindles...
As you begin to fall deeper into sleep you'll notice dim points of light are everywhere. Sometimes they are dark blue. Without being able to focus directly, it makes seeing them difficult but there are millions...Perhaps one for each rod or cone. The moment you slip into unconsciousness is when they rush at you and in this process change sight from 3 dimensions into 2. A smear of lights that seem to form a constellation of stars will become the first image you dream of or maybe the first image of association...The image looks as if it is being stretched into two dimensions. Either way, it will eventually become an image of you reading this word by word...Hearing the voice in your head as your eyes scroll past each letter of this sentence. But remember you're not actually reading this. You're asleep right now and you might be more aware of this when you realize you cannot move any part of your body as it lays there. If you want to move it is important to remember that such action is a violation of the cerebellum as it is not getting the amount of circulation it does when awake. And trying to move now would be a waste of your time. It will take you most of the night to realize that your thoughts, once so linear and sequenced, are now part of a omni directional substrate and much faster.
Induction.
The mind is a vast assortment of switches and transformers. Pay close attention to the Subthalamus...It is in the basement just below the spiral. Sometimes it will breath on it's own and carefully change the emotions of the dream without your consent. The Subthalamus knows what being dead can be like so be careful. Thank god for the Pons and the Crus Cerebri at this point because it's the only thing to keep you from falling too far into the darkness. The demons that sometimes take cigarette breaks with angels will be surprised to see you watching. One of the demons might try to sell you some bad L.S.D. but don't buy it. Say them you're trying to stay sane...And keep moving even if an angel tries to give you ketamine (There will be plenty of time to acquire ketamine later).
The sounds within memories have no echo or depth yet everything will be very clearly heard. However, the sound of a closing door may sound like a nest of bees. Try not to think of it. Just ride the upward spiral and observe the no smoking sign. The lateral ventricles are a tidal wave of cerebral spinal fluid that could possibly smell like memories. Now you could be in the front yard of the house you grew up or maybe the house where all those people were killed ten years ago. It's sometimes difficult to say. When you find the escape-hole it is also possible they will find you there and say something like, "...I think the chain slipped...It's all greasy with broken guitar strings but we're okay now..."
Escape them and you may think you have awaken...Thinking you see the dark room where you started...Only, try moving and you'll see what I'm talking about. You're not awake yet. There are loud noises coming downstairs and seem to be, no definitely are, coming for you. Soon they'll be outside the door and if you let them in then you'll be the one having to take cigarette breaks inside your head and they will be you when consciousness is regained.
Semi consciousness translations:
After resetting the time code and pressure switches, it will be time to follow your way back into the lobby of subconsciousness. Here you will be able to purchase souvenirs or perhaps a gram of that ketamine I was talking about earlier. You'll get a few minutes there but you'll know it's time to go when perceptions begin to get all stretchy again. Finally, you'll see the darkness and blue dots vanish as you open your eyes. Be sure you can move in the normal conscious way again to confirm you have returned.
~
Thank you for reading through this dream manual and when properly cared for and maintained, you should get many productive dreams from your brain as your body lays there and does nothing.
Happy dreaming!
