yesterday i found out that the woman that i purchased my wedding dress from is a con artist.
yup, she really is.
yesterday morning i called her shop to check the status of my dress and the bridesmaids dresses that we ordered.
a woman answered the phone as "montana's bridal boutique" instead of "meera's bridal boutique."
i told her my name and she said she recognized my name and thought i should know that the woman who owned the shop a few months ago had gone bankrupt and sold the business to her!!!
yup.
i almost **** myself.
there was no record of my payment and it appeared that the woman sold my dress to another woman!!!
SHE SOLD THE DRESS TWICE!
the new lady said not to worry and the dress is mine...i came back first.
she said she would deal with that other girl once she came to the shop.
can you believe this?
how could someone do that?
the new woman told me that this lady didn't even know how to sew.
she said she ruined a bunch of dresses in the back.
she even butchered the hell out of a woman's dress that belonged to her great grandmother.
she said i was lucky that she didn't touch mine...she said that there wouldn't be anything left of it.
i feel so sick about all this, i wanna puke my guts out.
i cannot believe i trusted this woman.
at least my dress is okay and that it is still mine.
the new woman has no receipts, all it says by my name is "bride paid in full."
so the new woman trusts that.
i put the dress on my visa, so at least i have that to show.
man, like i need this stress right now.

i feel like a HUGE sucker.
seems like you can't trust anybody anymore.
