i thought i was the only one!!!

everytime i go to the dump, i'm SHOCKED at the **** people just throw away. the last time i was there i was dumping an entire rusted old unsafe children's playground set, and while we were dumping, there was a working less than 5 year old white refrigerator just dumped.. i opened it and it was full of cabbage patch dolls, which was strange.. but we tried to take the fridge, and the dump people said it's illegal and you can't do that.

what a ****ing waste.

we need dump-policy reform!!

How exciting! The thought of owning a house paralyzes me with fear because I cannot see myself putting down 'roots' anywhere for too long. But whenever I am reading about building green, recycling materials, insulation materials, windows' R-values, energy efficient lighting patterns, etc etc etc I get so excited about renovating a house up to those standards.

is there such a thing as 'dump reform policy' orchestral? or what would it be called?
I don't know where to begin to look or what search terms to use...?
I'm ridiculously bad a doing online searches and tend to give up rather quickly

we've owned this house for six years - and it's been a continual work in progress and the exterior is excruciatingly ugly now with the siding all torn off
but it's ours, we got it for CHEAP, and it's much better than renting and worrying about evil landlords
