What to get people for xmas?

I am a self diagnosed "shopping retard" and have no idea what to get anyone for xmas, or where to get it from, because basically I hate shopping and coming up with ideas for presents.

So I need some inspiration. I know the majority of you are christmas present shopping savvy, and I think you should all adopt a shopping retard this xmas and help them through the tough times.

Please tell me what you are getting your mum/dad/girlfriend/grandparent/dog/next door neighbour etc and as a token of my appreciation, I shall read it.

so far the only thing i got for anyone is a massaging pillow for my stepfather's back/neck
i see stuff all the time i could get for him- he's easy to buy for
i will probably buy my son an ipod speaker system/dock
and a board game we can play together, maybe a video game for the psp or ps2
and some other things i am considering for him like a sleeping bag that can be used in below freezing temps for camping, and a belt that will fit him and keep his pants up for once
i have a present i previously bought and never gave for a friend of mine but the problem is i would need to find a gift for my other friend too first since they have known each other longer than i've known either of them and i have known the one i have a gift for less time than i have known the other one so i don't know if thats gonna happen
my mother is nearly impossible to buy for
she has or can get herself whatever she needs or wants and is a bit hard to please
i think i will buy myself and the house some things which are needed
if i'm gonna run up a bill might as well make it worth while

My dad: a subscription to Private Eye magazine

My sister: As many of those 'World's Stupidest Laws/Place Names/Quiz Show Answers' etc as I can get my hands on. She's a fiend for them. And maybe something off her reading list to annoy her

My mum: ???

My best friend: The legal right to call herself 'Lady Stephanie'

My second best friend (I don't call her this to her face): One of those bartender spirits-holder-things, you know with proper decanters and everything

My housemates: Cherry Lambrini (we love that ****) chocolates I found in Tesco and Green Wing DVD for the communal stack

Pedro (my hamster): why, a hamster stocking from Pets At Home, of course

Millicent (my dog): A cuddly turkey which says 'gobble gobble' as she similates ripping it limb from limb <3
