anyone familiar with "teaching & projects abroad"?

http://www.teaching-abroad.co.uk

it seems serious enough, but it's hard to tell with these things. it could be absolute crap and have a horrible reputation for what i know.

anyone? anything?

I don't know but I've been going through the site and it's quite interesting. they're accepting students for exemple when it comes to medicine or law...hm that would be such an awesome experience and an awesome thing on the resume...

yeah, the medicine thing was what got my attention. it looks interesting, though fairly useless (having nothing to contribute, you'd pretty much just be watching everything. and if you had actual skills and medical training you'd be better off with a serious organisation, not some gap year holiday company)

i can't quite make my mind up about it. on one hand it is absolute bullshit. big fat cash cow exploiting the gap year "volunteer" trend.

then again, just being able to observe what goes on at the different parts of an african hospital would be interesting. well, for a while, i guess. since you're not actually contributing or doing anything, i suppose that could get old fast too.

hmmmmmmmm. the more i think about it, the less i like it actually.
damn. i wanted this to be good.
oh well.
