it floods like this fairly often, though this is a bit higher than i've ever seen it, but storms are forecast for tonight and where will all the water go?
i don't want my boat to end up in a field

Are you moored on a canal? | a few years on and off. on a canalised river, a canal proper would be much less floody. some friends did and their life seemed idyllic, a way of leaving the world behind
