i lived there for 8 years and i will always call it my city, my home.
i'm feeling very homesick lately...maybe because the holidays are so near.

Yep , when I moved fomr Long Islad to Flordia I was so home sick. I still am esp now. Long Island had the best summers , all the town pools , the local Ice Cream man , all the shops right on your street. But now fall is here and I miss the change of season. The color of the trees , the decaying leaf smell haha. All the fireplaces burning. It gets better but it really sucks when tyhe little things you used to enjoy so much are no longer there.

my city isn't even where i grew up. it's watertown, ny.
it's where i spent summers as a kid, until i was about 15.
i feel way more at home there than where i grew up and still live.
