i want everyone who posts to this thread to list 3 things they're proud of themselves for.
1. i'm proud of me for being able to overcome having shitty parents, an abusive dad, and enduring sexual abuse, and now being someone who wants kids, and gives hugs, and trusts strangers.
2. i'm proud of me for being a compassionate person.
3. i'm proud of myself for taking the high road, and keeping the job i love even though it makes almost no money.

i'm proud of myself for making it through the day, well there's three minutes left and its taking forever to post on my online class
tomorrow though and the rest of the week is whole other can of worms.

- taking a huge risk and going with what i want to do in life/career, rather than taking the easy route. but can i reallybe proud if it would be physically impossible for me to force myself down a path that's not for me..? i dunno
- for not letting the fact that im so out of place amongst my peers/age group effect me
- for not being embarassed of myself, especially when i go out in public looking like shit
- for never being rude and mean to people, even when they deserve it
- for liking, appreciating and enjoying such a huge variety of things
- for being nonjudgemental.
