| | | proud of you!! we're always down on ourselves too much. i want everyone who posts to this thread to list 3 things they're proud of themselves for.
1. i'm proud of me for being able to overcome having shitty parents, an abusive dad, and enduring sexual abuse, and now being someone who wants kids, and gives hugs, and trusts strangers.
2. i'm proud of me for being a compassionate person.
3. i'm proud of myself for taking the high road, and keeping the job i love even though it makes almost no money.
ready.. go!

| | | ok actually i am going to play.
i am proud of myself for following my own heart for once and doing what i want.
i am proud of myself for completing my first year at university and completing it well.
i am proud of myself for holding my tounge instead of being a selfish cunt and shitting on someone else when they probably didn't deserve it this morning.

But he does talk the way I imagine an american football coach talks, doesn't he. I bet he's proud. |

| | | it's pretty lame that out of the 102 people who read this thread, only one person other than myself could give themselves props for something.
we're awful quick to tear eachother down, and doubly as slow to say nice things. which i guess, is tres kittyradio.

being a real individual and not succumbing* to stupid labels like every other kid in this town.
having the courage to end it with someone who was an abusive dick.

| | | im proud of myself for:
- taking a huge risk and going with what i want to do in life/career, rather than taking the easy route. but can i reallybe proud if it would be physically impossible for me to force myself down a path that's not for me..? i dunno
- for not letting the fact that im so out of place amongst my peers/age group effect me
- for not being embarassed of myself, especially when i go out in public looking like shit
- for never being rude and mean to people, even when they deserve it
- for liking, appreciating and enjoying such a huge variety of things
- for being nonjudgemental.
i sound conceited, i have a bigass list, lol. im not, i swear. |
