I have noticed recently when I'm out drinking, there seem to be a lot of chicks and dudes dancing like they are auditioning for the next Usher video clip, but in reality it looks more like they have a severe case of epilepsy (Not that Im the greatest dancer in the world or anything, but I have been known to carve up a dance floor or two in my time and am usually the biggest crowd pleaser, and that's being modest). Has anyone else noticed this? Should white dudes basically not even bother at all?

Also there are the kinds that

a) stand in the one spot with their legs planted to the ground, arms by their side and bopping away (while singing the song).
b) do the clap dance, move their legs side-to-side into each other while they happily clap away (variations include the high clap and low clap)
c) stand in a group and start texting on their mobiles because they don't know what to do with their hands (while singing the song).
d) perform the mowing the lawn dance maneuver
e) perform the stocking the shelves dance maneuver


so how do you dance, and how do people in your local area generally dance? what kind of dancing do you like to see from the opposite sex?

well baby-seal would be more accurate to describe the way the club was used but i still liked ittt, you know how the saying goes, if your hip gets fractured.. its all good anyway.

This is why I can't go to regular clubs. I always have to go where they will play music in Spanish. The ridiculousness factor is diminished by 100.

Depends what music is playing. If i don't know/like the song i'll be one of those annoying mobile type people. If its gross club music my friends & I will do big fish, little fish, cardboard box to amuse ourselves.
To Beyonce i do the booty dance.
& If i'm drunk enough & my friends encourage me i'll lay on the floor & breakdance (homer simpson style.)
