do you send friends and strangers and people you are fans of letters and packages in the post? what stuff so you send them.? I haven't been sending or receiving enough stuff in the post lately at all. when you get together with someone do you send them stuff in the post? when I first got together with my boyfriend I would draw him pictures of turtles mating and send them to him in the post or panda biscuits or aesops fables but he never sent anything back so I stopped.

when I got my first job (about 15 years ago) I was just working as a crappy admin assistant for a crappy travel company, but I had control of the postroom and therefore carte blanche as to what I could send out.

I used to mock up poison pen letters with letters cut out of magazines and send them to my mates.

I remember one I sent to my best mate that said 'David Soul knows you wank. Await details of hush money payment'.

me and my friend lola spent ages writing a letter to our friend nadz pretending to eb teh waitress in his local nandos once. I don;t knwo why. Crassy and I wrote a letter to MJ pretending to be a sick kid but never finished it.

unfortunately yes. I thought it would be this cloak & dagger, secretive campaign of torment, but I got a phonecall that night along the lines of 'you are such a twat'.

that's a separate issue. no-one likes to be confronted with the prospect of 50% of Starsky & Hutch knowing their onanistic practices.

I used to send packages all the time to people. & make them all glittery & pretty with stickers & presents. I don't so much anymore 'cause people are lame at responding. Plus I feel like I'm wasting valuable trees.

Yes. I love sending out packages. If it's someone out of country, I send them things they can't get where they live (certain candy bars in England, ect). Mix cds, articles in magazines about their favorite band that they can't get where they live-all kinds of stuff really. And I get the same kind of stuff back. It's fun getting packages in the mail

i love sending packages and letters out to people, i have exchanged packages with a few memebrs of KR as well as the secret santa and it was fun you really get to know the people better.
i love going to the post office and sending off a big box of goodies

the last thing i sent of a personal nature was some books. i had to get id'ed and all this crap. seriously. i am not terrorist material. but the books may have been.

i send my fella a card about once a fortnight, i used to make him big packages up but now i can't really be arsed and 2 years down the line i've ran out of ideas.
he sends me very confusing letters in codes and dvds, because he works in a dvd store and he knows i spend most nights alone.

i always put glitter and confetti in cards and stuff and people get SO MAD when they open them. and i just sit there and laugh.

when we were little, my cousin and i used to send cheeseboxes back and forth to each other in the mail. i don't know why but our moms used to buy cheese that came in these nifty little plastic boxes, so we'd fill them with candy, stickers, plastic jewelry, anything we could find around our bedrooms and we'd pack it up and send it off. getting a cheesebox in the mail was a highlight of my childhood.

we should all exhange one another addresses & exchange goodie packages with one another! PM me if your down? I can make a "Exchange the Goodies" sticky thread in the trading post for all of us if you like?

i just wanted to say that i have gotten wonderful packages in the mail. from various members here and i'm very shit at mailing things back. but they've all been very lovely & i've been uber appreciative of all of them.

i send stuff once in a while.
