a waterpipe in the attick got damaged tonight, so i just got back to a damp apartment with a completely ruined wall (both in the bedroom and livingroom), the floor has got some major stains and my dvdplayer might be fucked as well as my tv.

not funny, we had a flood in our kitchen which totalled our floor, luckily we hadn't moved everything in yet (new house) so not much got totalled.

bright side for you though, if you're insured you'll get cashola to buy new stuff. excuse to redecorate? upgrade the dvd player??

luckily the company that runs the whole building is going to pay for all the damage (hurrah for leasing) and my insurance will pay for the dvd player.
