Yesterday I finally got rid of the old clothes that was sitting in the closet for ages.
Was considering selling it off eBay, but it's too much hassle, I just wanted to get rid of it as quickly and painlessly as possible.
So I took half to the charity shop and the other (better) half to the local second hand.

And what they gave me in return was 200 pounds worth of vouchers that I can spend in their record exchange store.

I think it's gonna seriously expand my vinyl collection...

Yeah I've gone through the same thing... I had a lot of stuff that I didn't need, and it was too good to just throw out or give away. I wanted to sell it on ebay to get some money for it. But selling things on ebay is a huge hassle... and they charge pretty high fees for selling stuff. I hate all that shit. So I just gave a bunch of stuff to the salvation army, including a pair of real leather boots which were very expensive when i bought them. But I just know I'm never going to wear the fucking things. It's better to get rid of stuff so you don't have to deal with it anymore, and just start fresh.

I actually regard it as a nice surprise. I've been spending on records anyway, but now I can indulge.

i recently gave away a bunch of clothes, and i'm pretty sure the only thing my second hand store did was jack up the prices on what should be free clothes, and sell them to poor people.
