I am planning a trip for October 2010

I have been up to the north of India- Rajasthan- its beautiful up there. Really lovely. And no one was racist- although its quite disconcerting cause all the kids want to come up to you and shake your hand, say hello, how are you and then they run off again. Went to Jodhpur, Jaipur and Udiapur. Its not that easy to get around India- big distances and the roads are shit and the trains are slow. They are getting a reasonable cheap internal flight market going though- look on websites like Jet and Kingfisher. Its quite cheap out there, but what you get for very little money is actually a hole, so if you are used to European standards, be wary about things that cost 50p a night...

that is the area that I am looking into
we are going to take a tour though
