i've been think about going backpacking across either latin america or india.

has anyone here been to these places? do you have any recommendations of what to see, where to visit, etc..?

also- do you have any tips for backpackers in general?

Don't be a dick, basically. Backpackers are always such a ****ing pain. Okay, so I've met nice, interesting ones along the way...but most of the time they're rude and inconsiderate, not only to their fellow travelers...but to people in the towns or cities.

Go to Mexico of course.
