i'm going there for a very short 3 days. tell me things that i MUST do/see, if you have been.

I'm not a fan of Milan, but there are a couple nice things to see. Hopefully the weather will be nice when you get there, but don't be too upset if it's not as it's quite well-known for its shitty weather. There's a beautiful castle (Castello Sforzesco), a pretty famous cathedral (Duomo), and a couple wonderful art galleries. You can't miss Leonardo's Last Supper in the church called Santa Maria delle Grazie, and a museum called Pinacoteca di Brera. ALSO, bring lots of money and shop, Milan is pretty good for shopping. I know you like Zara, don't you? Well, it's a LOT cheaper in Italy, so you won't be disappointed

i figured shopping would be the order of the day 'cause my mum booked the holiday & she's a total shopaholic
i've heard mixed reviews about milan so i'm not expecting much... so hopefully i'll be pleasantly surprised. i do want to see the cathedral. & as long as i can eat lots of nice italian ice cream & have yummy coffee breaks i'm happy

the shopping is brilliant, you can also jump on a bus and get a guided tour around the city. The ticket lasts all day so you can get off and back on another bus whenever you want.
