I've come out to Australia to live for 5 months and I'm in Melbourne this weekend and wanna know what there is to do rock clubs and stuff. I'm here on my own so it would be nice to meet up with some peeps to show me around. |

just posting to also re-iterate that pony, ding dong, black night crash and click click are awesome venues/clubnights.
if you were there on a thursday i would advise you to run not walk to 161. light up dance floor!
but on a weekend night there is no way most anyone from this site would get in there.
also yeah the tote is ace. the carpet is sticky. the toilets look like you may just catch chlamidia but it has its charms and it's one of those places you should just go and have a beer at even if you do not drink beers.
also there is this new club whos name i forget has started up and is bound to shut down v soon. its horrendously debauched apparently. my friend was telling me he got alig vibes whenever any one spoke of it.
i wish to go.
also cherry bar. do people still go there? its been years since i bothered. and moser? does it still keep rock ours? [midnight to 8am friday and saturday nights only?] and is it still a rock bar or have the metros taken it away?  |
