| | | i do infact, sadly live here.
this upcoming tuesday?
or tuesdays in general? are you of age to drink?
generally.. i dont think there's alot to do here. i mean, i'm sure there is.. but maybe i'm just over it?
i think your better bet would be to go kick it south of here, in Santa Cruz, or north of here in San Francisco.
pm me if you have any other questions. |

| | | My roommate and I are spending the week of june 17th-23rd in san francisco, but we're going to San Jose on the 19th for the day. Winchester House was the reason we were going in the first place, but I think we just want to find a good beach or a fun neighborhood to walk around and shop in for the rest of the day.. then eat dinner somewhere cheap but cool, and head back to s.f. |

| | | right before i left there i discovered all these cool places i had never even been to and i had lived ther all my life (till i was almost 30). i keep trying to remember where i went and i can't remember the names. but if you drive through the moutainy towns north past saratoga, eventually you end up by the coast and there is this town with a lighthouse and then i would drive back up the coast south till i got to santa cruz and it was a really nice drive. i think i discovered that when i went poking around the trails at villa montalvo and then went the opposite way instead of back home.
maybe you could fill in the gaps with names and stuff.
also. heading the other direction kind of south of san jose/los gatos area, i kept driving one time and ended up at uvas (canyon?) it wasn't a canyon, but you drive through this weird private sweedish type resort/camp ground and then there is a public state park with really amazing trails along a creek and waterfalls (little ones). black rock or something. i wish i was there right now.

| | | we got into san jose at around 11, had lunch at some pizza place next to the greyhound station, took a $20 cab ride to winchester house with a cab driver that was really into Sylvia Brown the psychic.. so that was different.. spent until 4pm at winchester, then took another $20 cab back to the bus and went back to S.F. So needless to say we didn't get a great look at the city, but everyone we met there was way nicer than in S.F. and Winchester was the highlight of our trip down to the states. |

in high school, my friend Rachel worked there as a tour guide assistant. and the whole staff knew that there were these two guys who'd been banned from the estate for attempting to break in to the house.
well, on one of Rachel's late night tours (i think it was like a 2am halloween one), she had 20 people in her group, but at one the the headcounts, she realized she was missing two people from her group.. and most of the staff had left, and all the visitors had too, so it was up to like 10-15 of them to find the two missing folks. and.. she did find them.
fucking, in a closet that opened up into another closet, into another closet (so, in the third closet). and when walked in on had a very "uhm, excuse us, we're in the middle of something right now, bitch" attitude. so security and the cops were called, and they were both kicked out again.
see.. everyone thought they were trying to steal from the house, but really they just had some really nasty fetish about fucking in a creepy old haunted victorian house. |
