I'll be visiting Los Angeles for a week in June, and I'd like to hit up as many decent used clothing stores and thrift stores as possible. I'm a guy, so if you know of any used clothing stores that specialize in men's clothing, that's even better. You can give me recommendations in Los Angeles proper and the neighboring areas as well.

i had heard there were some on la brea near melrose but i never went to any.

there's also one on hollywood and vine on the southwest corner of that intersection but i forgot what it was called.

edit because i wanted to ask in what section of town you'll be staying and are you renting a car?

aardvarks on Ocean/Neilson way in Santa Monica (right by Venice Circle) tends to be good too because it's less known than the one on Melrose so there's more good stuff left.

I'm actually staying with my friend in Orange County, but I'm planning on spending most of my time in LA. I'll definitely have a rental car.

ooh. You know what. there's a really cool vintage shop in Santa Barbara. It's called Yellowstone and it's on state street.

Sometimes kinda pricey though but they have cool stuff.

Santa Barbara is about a 2 hour drive from LA (hour and a half if you're lucky)
