| | | Used Clothing Stores/Thrift Stores in Los Angeles I'll be visiting Los Angeles for a week in June, and I'd like to hit up as many decent used clothing stores and thrift stores as possible. I'm a guy, so if you know of any used clothing stores that specialize in men's clothing, that's even better. You can give me recommendations in Los Angeles proper and the neighboring areas as well.
Begin!
(And thanks in advance.) |

i had heard there were some on la brea near melrose but i never went to any.
there's also one on hollywood and vine on the southwest corner of that intersection but i forgot what it was called.
edit because i wanted to ask in what section of town you'll be staying and are you renting a car? |

| | | aardvarks on Ocean/Neilson way in Santa Monica (right by Venice Circle) tends to be good too because it's less known than the one on Melrose so there's more good stuff left. |

| | | ooh. You know what. there's a really cool vintage shop in Santa Barbara. It's called Yellowstone and it's on state street.
Sometimes kinda pricey though but they have cool stuff.
Santa Barbara is about a 2 hour drive from LA (hour and a half if you're lucky) |

| | | When I lived there, the best second hand clothing store (it was big and reasonably priced) was Jet Rag on La Brea Ave. It probably is still there. When you are driving south from Hollywood Blvd on La Brea, Jet Rag is a couple of blocks before you come to the Melrose intersection. There was also Yellowstone on La Brea Ave, right at the Melrose intersection, not far from Jet Rag. Then when you get to Melrose, turn right. There are a few stores on Melrose Ave. including Wasteland.

| | | I'm sure I found one somewhere in Hollywood called "Out Of The Closet". Unless I dreamt it and those silver platforms magically appeared in my house overnight. |

(west hollywood) and i'm sure there is one in venice near the other aardvark's that sara mentioned. |
