Has anyone else had an experience with couchsurfing.com? My roommate and I put up a profile a few months ago, and just hosted our first surfer this weekend. It was so great! It's like having an old friend come to visit you for a night! I suppose we got really lucky in that our surfer was fabulous, because there is a distinct possibility she could have smelled really bad, been messy, slept till 2pm, and stolen our stuff.. but she was none of those things. We have two girls from Paris staying with us next weekend. I just think it's such a great concept.

I have a mate who hosts people and gets really good write-ups, but personally, I have KR for that sort of thing. Don't I? I'm going to test the water on that one if I make it to Melbourne this year...
