Providence Rhode Island.

At one time a destitute, crime ridden dump has experienced renaissance in the last 7 years. It culminated with the construction of the Providence Place Mall. Likewise the uncovering of the Blackstone River promoted the proliferation of clubs, bars, and restaurants. For live music The Living Room is the showcase club in town. Several new hotels have also opened in recent years. Currently the State of Rhode Island is working diligently to clean up Narragansett Bay both for aesthtic reasons as well as odor. Once you tire of the city travel south to Newport and see how the other half at one time lived by touring several of the mansions. Afterwhich continue south to Westerly, R.I. and go to Misquamicut Beach. Truly one of the best beaches in New England.

Preferably all this should be done with a loved one as New England is one romantic place.
