have you done a search on expedia.com or something similar? since they're major cities relatively close together, you should have a lot of choice of airlines.

I wanna do that also!! So far i cant find anything cheaper than £200. How crap is that!!??

for Canadian airlines try looking on www.aircanada.ca or www.westjet.ca (though im not sure if westjet is still western North America only)

If you're flying from Toronto to NYC, it's best if you can somehow drive to Buffalo and fly out from there. You save A LOT. If you must fly out from Toronto, I'd suggest expedia. I did that last year and flew with American Eagle (discount American Airlines).
