..............be able to apply for a immigrant visa to the U.S???

from what i have read unless you have immediate family living in the U.S or a well paid important job waiting for you when you get there, the only way to get an Immigrant Visa is to have a BA level qualification?

I believe so. Maybe not to that extent though? I think you have to come here with a plan to get by, yada yada yada. I've also been told it's like that in other countries too, Canada, European countries, etc.

of course, I could be wrong, I don't know. But it sounds like what I've always heard.

i really want to move from england to america as soon as possible, and forever with no plans of coming back to the UK. But it seems i need a university qualification to be able to do this. Has anyone ever made the move?
