people keep telling me there is so much more to do there than gamble and watch live acts but i just cant see it as worth the money.
I would rather go to Mexico. Mexico is probably cheaper than vegas anyway. In all my vacation research it is cheaper to go outside of the united states than to travel within it.
Do you like the typical things associated with vegas?.....Drinking, partying, gambling, etc..... If so, cant you do those things in your own hometown or at least the local area? It may not be worth the money. Go to vegas for a weekend if you just want a quick getaway and change of scenery but if you are looking for an actual vacation-----Mexico sounds better to me. |

Im sure that beach stretches and the public are allowed on the rest of it. Id recommend Mexico definitely. I have a feeling that in Vegas you'll lose quite a bit of money but in Mexico, you'll get more for your dollar. |

I always hear of bad shit happening from my friends (who are native Spanish speakers) & brother when they visit Mexico. Whether it is problems with corrupt cops or shit getting stolen I dunno. I just know it is a pain in the ass to keep everything in check. Unless you are at some nice resort I suppose.

vegas is super over-rated. it was atleast 103 degrees everyday, if you're not 21 there's nothing to do, and there are ALOT of tourists (i mean, crammed everywhere) and ALOT of elderly people. and skanks. it was not my scene.
mexico, on the other hand, is a whole country. you have alot of options.. |
