| | | Dublin is pretty cool but v. expensive to live in. Belfast is ok but not enough bands play there and the nightlife is pretty shit unless you're gay or into dance music.
I dont particularly like living here, but i also know there are lot worse places to live. Most people who have visited me from other countries think its great here, but im not really sure why? |

| | | there are tons of bands in belfast! or at least tons of places and people that put on shows - the pavillion, front page, empire, laverys, auntie annies, spring and airbrake, even the ulster hall, bless it.
i used to hate it here but i like it now, it's grown on me as i've gotten older. dublin is alright, but only really if you know people. same goes for cork and derry. plus if youre foreign it's really easy to get a minumum wage, back breakingly shit job. heh. |

| | I lived there for awhile.. .it is the sort of place that would be nice on a holiday but living there is irritating because they are so far behind on general things like services, transport and such. I sort of miss it though. |

| | | i personally love the place and could spend the rest of my life there quite easily.
irish people are so endearing, and if you lived anywhere near the border and could drive youd easily survive. |

irish people are so endearing, | you are not wanted. NOT WANTED.
I still go back twice a year to see all my family. they're down in Co. Laois.
the difference in lifestyle bewteen England and Ireland used to be a vast, yawning chasm, but the gap has closed dramatically over the last 10 or 20 years.
Ireland has cash and jobs now, and about time too.
do you find me endearing trace? |

do you find me endearing trace? | I did earn alot of money living there.. haha I got an email from my old boss last night saying they had no internet or email for 2 weeks cause usually when they fucked it up I used to fix it.. they had to wait for the lame arse IT guy to come and fix it..
I never made it to England though I was meant to... but I think I would rather live in Ireland. |

| | | Northern Ireland isnt really Ireland, I mean their currency is the pound sterling for starters and they are British, but I'll leave that argument to Ian Paisley. I heard they have this awful expression for those south of the order as "Mexicans." Is that true??
I suppose Dublin would be the place to go, that city is where everything is at not to mention all the big bands. Only downside is that its a tad pricey and scenically isnt that aesthetic. Cork city comes second and great if you are the arty/boheme type. Scenically, Kerry has the best places. |

I found Galway to be very very nice, but only if you have a car. |

Its not my theory btw, go ask an Orange man. I dont really care personally, you can keep your political mess to yourselves.
Having to get my passport checked by an inspector on a bus though Im Irish at your border made me feel like I was going into a different country and made me feel uneasy.
