Anyone good with Audcatiy or sth similar?

Hey,

I need someone to help me. I know how to work with Audacity, but I don't have the patience for a job like this so I'm outsourcing lol:
I need to cut "Conquest" (the cover version by the White Stripes) so only the instrumental parts remain. So the voice parts need to be cut out and there needs to be fluid (or at least decent) transitions between the cut off instrumental parts.
And in total it needs to be at least 1min15 (up until 1min45).

so if anyone has the time to do that it'd be great?!!

if not I will have to find someone in real life to do that for me...

What he said.

If you're wanting to do something similar without an instrumental version, there's a few ways of doing it. One involves FFT and probably can't be done with Audacity. The other involves using a graphic equaliser, which I think Audacity has, to pick out the vocal yourself. Either way you'll lose a bit of the instrumental as well, but it won't be that noticeable if you're putting another vocal over the top.

Another question about audacity...
So I'm trying to record a song... I record the guitar and its all good but then when I go to record the piano while the guitar track is playing there's a time delay on it so it all goes out of time and the piano ends up being about half a beat out
Anyone know what to do to stop that? I've tried playing the piano part half a beat early but that just ends up getting messy

Or is any other recording software that I might be able to understand? I used to use cubase but that was years ago and now I don't have the disc and I don't want to pay £100000000 or however much it costs
