| if youve got a copy of reason id use that for synths in addition to (acid?) or whatever software youre using.
both softwares use something called rewire which is a device that syncronises music applications.
[if you are using it] then load up acid first, then reason. you'll notice that when you press play on one, they both start.
i.e make yr beats/loops in acid, then synthesize over the top. welcome to the world of multi daw's. may your processors and ram whinge in pain evermore.
while yr at it, take a look at reason, it'd give you a better introduction into synthesis and composition. all the devices are pretty simple and theres lots of resource on the web. plus the redrum is a simple but fun drum machine. which might sort yr earlier questions. and if you like it, buy it. |
