The Holelive.com Tribute Volume 4 is being planned.
The working theme for it is "How'd You Like To Be A Rockstar?"
There are up to 15 spots available for the CD. You can cover any song done by Hole or
Courtney Love, including any bsides, outtakes, or songs from any album: Pretty On The Inside, Live Through This, Celebrity Skin, America's Sweetheart.
Please do not cover a song that is on
Courtney's upcoming album.
To sign up for a song, simply email
holelive@gmail.com and you will receive a confirmation email on March 31. Reply to the confirmation email if you are sure you want to do that song, or if you changed your mind.
You can submit your song one of three ways:
1. Electronically. Make sure your song is in mp3 format, and email it to
holelive@gmail.com with "TRIBUTE VOL. 4" in the subject.
2. On CD. Send your song on a CD - emailed
holelive@gmail.com for mailing address.
3. On Cassette. Send us your cassette. We will convert to mp3, burn onto a disc, and mail your cassette back, along with a CD of it.
Deadlines:
1. Signup for songs will be complete by May 1, 2008 - email
holelive@gmail.com to claim what song your want!
2. Songs must be confirmed by May 8, 2008
3. Songs must be finished and in my hands by June 12, 2008
4. CD tentivly will be released June 17, 2008.
CD will be available for sale with two options:
1. A professionally printed CD will be available for $6
2. You can purchase the mp3s for $1 donation to Holelive.com
