and like ifyou fingerpick you play flamenco right?
the basic idea is an alternate bass thumbing and picking a simple melody
using 7th chords usually

C blues major is the name, only starting on the Eb.

WH - W - H - H - WH - H

in semitones.

whole+half step, whole step, half step speaking.
