I like it a lot. It does everything I need it to do, and most of all, the layout makes sense to me. Like I can actually figure out what stuff's meant to be, which is handy.
I'm no expert on PC software recording, but Cubase is good for me.
Pros:
Seems simple-ish to use
Nice mixer facility
Included plugins are pretty handy
Cons:
More features than I'll probably ever understand
Not 100% retard-proof
I also tried a trial/lite version of Ableton Live 4, just about the same time as I got cubase, and to be perfectly honest, I was totally frickin lost in Ableton, where Cubase just kinda made sense to me. |
