| | | I did a bit of reading into them, and now fucking despise them. I'll try to find an email they sent round to a lot of people via UKbands.net that has them basically using the death of their father in order to garner what looks like sympathy votes.
Also, they were signed to EMI but were dropped before anything was ever released. And I was correct in assuming they had publicity, management and distibution people all working for them too. It's basically like being on a record label, but without actually being "owned". |

Hi UKB Member
How would you like to help to make UK CHART HISTORY? and at the same time help 2 lads who have just lost their farther?
It is with much regret that we must announce the sudden passing of Mr Martin Cooper, father of Ollie & Stu of KOOPA .
Martin died unexpectedly on Sunday, 7 Jan 2007 after suffering a heart attack.
Everyone in the KOOPA camp are still suffering from the shock. The unsigned pop punk band ( Ollie Cooper , guitar and vocals, Stu Cooper , drums and Joe Murphy , bass and vocals) entered the UK Singles charts on 8 Jan 2007 at No 17 with the release of ' Blag, Steal and Borrow '. Although clearly devastated by the untimely passing of their father, the Cooper brothers have decided to keep their gig dates this week. Joe Murphy will be attending various media interviews for the band too.
MUSIC ' Blag, Steal and Borrow ' is NOW available for download in four versions and ALL of which count towards the chart position.
Help the Band make Chart History and be the first UNSIGNED BAND to hit the UK top 40 this sunday, you must act quickly to be part of this history and either txt to download or download using your card.
