so ive got a music myspace. and needless to say youre limited to uploading four songs and only four songs.

purevolume has the same regulations as far as i know..

i was wondering if anyone here is a familiar with a site in which i can upload my songs for free, no strings attached?

i found this one good site a while ago but i didnt wind up uploading anything cause in the terms and conditions they mentioned that they had the rights to do whatever it was they wished to do with the music i upload.

i dont know its kinda a long shot..for now i should probably stick to putting together compilation cd's and getting the word out that way..but i mean if someone does happen to know about a site with the fore mentioned fill me in.

Soundclick is the shit if it's sheer volumes of music you want to upload. I think you can post unlimited songs on there. I've certainly seen bands up in the hundreds.

HOWEVER, it is a bit of a cunt to use if your target audience are not soundclick users, as non users can only receive low-bitrate ( < 96kb/s i think) streams, and can only download, or hear in full quality if they sign up. It's free and shit, but it's usually more hassle than most people are willing to go to.

As a guideline for what many people do, you put your best 4 on myspace, and promote it most, but use soundclick as well in order to have a more extensive back catalogue that you can direct your more "dedicated" listeners to.
