dusted off the porta02, having not been touched for a number of months and track 2 is dead. no playback at all. the others are fine. halp.

demos for my friend, the drummer, for him to write his parts. its do-able with three tracks, i just wanna know if this has happened to anyone else. also kinda hoping somebody will tell me that doing 'x' will fix it. i'm not ready to accept the death of track 2 yet. or ready to purchase another.

i had tracks 1 and two burn out on me in a similar situation. i had it packed away for a while. took out and cleaned it up. id record and playback- no fucking sound.

threw it off a bridge soon after. then i went digital.
