I feel like at work I have to be fake in order to stay in a graceful light with my workplace superiors. So when I'm tired I say that I have energy, when I am bored I say that I am interested, and so on. With boyfriends, I am never completely honest. I am afraid that the real me would repel them. The times that I have been real in the past, all have had negative results.

Hence, I feel really fake. How about you?

If you feel 'fake'--that's probably a good thing. If you start believing you are 'normal'--watch out! Authenticity isn't much rewarded in the material world by normal people. You need to survive, though, and the ability to turn it on and off is healthy. When you truly believe the images around you are real, rather than an illusion, then you are really sick and need to get some help.

Delusions and illusions will lead you away from your true self, and that will not make you happier in the end.

I apparently am very transparent. It's hard for me to fake happiness especially in the workplace when I'm "not feeling the love" I sometimes wish I had the talent to act happy when I'm surrounded by backstabbing bitches.
Trouble with me is that I don't really try to put on a happy face anymore and
that my disgust with falseless only seems to alienate me worse.
Wish I could find a way to fix this...
