I'm enjoying this thread, would be more amazing if AngelDust actually wrote that first post herself though

The big bang isn't a theory, it's proven. What was before the big bang? How many big bangs have their been?

Sometimes I wonder if this dimension might just be one consciousness, one of many, and the other dimensions are it's friends. Perhaps they talk to each other?

I don't know that the big bang has been proven, exactly, so much as it just sort of fits along with what we believe.

I'm always blown away by thinking about the differences between species and what sorts of experiences they must have. I've put a lot of thought into the matter, in fact. There's so much we can't know about the subjective experience of being another person, so the thought of being another creature is just about enough to make my brain flat-out implode.

It's crazy to think about what sorts of intelligence might be out there in different types of creatures, though.

I thought they proved it with that discovery of that background radiation in the seventies?

I fully believe that there is other intelligent life in this universe. I think the chances of there not being is just too small. But I also think the distances involved might be insurmountable. However I have no idea.

It's one of my great hopes we are contacted by aliens ASAP.

Aliens are completely beside the point, and the odds of us contacting aliens while you are alive are so infinitesimal that you should probably get used to disappointment.

This is about different intelligences here on Earth, mother****er.

The brains and methods of communications are all both similar and extremely different on all of the dumbass creatures on Earth.
Probably doesn't mean much in all of the Universe's existence, but I like daydreaming about it.
PLUS Jellyfish are GORGEOUS, ever see them swimming around?
