Let's address this.
In the eyes of a christian, all sins are immoral. If you disagree, you need to read your bible and you need to consult a dictionary. Furthermore, in the bible, it says that you should stay away from divination altogether (this would include studying it, whether you pull a card or not).
Here comes the interesting question.
Who are you to decide anyone's fate, should it actually come down to "the lake of fire"? Is that not up to God and that individual? Perhaps you should worry about the log in your eye before you worry about the splinter in someone else's. You are seriously overstepping your bounds as a christian. What the bible says, and what christian people today follow, tends to be two very different things.
There are many other things I could address, but I'll wait for your reply. |
The trouble with silvine is he's dishonest. He hides his homophobia behind "oh, I was only quoting the Bible". Or says he has little or no views on the subject, while clearly having 'issues' of his own with regard to homosexuality.
I think he sees himself as some great spiritual savant too.
I'm a atheist (and straight), but I'm very interested in morality. I'll talk about the Bible and God like I'll talk about greek myths, as a great moral source.
But let's accept for a moment that the old testament says that if you put your cock in another mans anus, with their consent, even with their love, and don't repent, you are going to spend an eternity in unbearable agony.
My questions to Silvine would be
Do you think this is true?
Do you think this is a good thing? (whether true or not)
And remember the posts about lakes of fire
