The universe dropped a dividend in my yard today. The power company wanted a dangerous tree removed by their tree contractor. I love my trees, but reality says I must think of my neighbors also. In a power outage from a downed tree or branch taking the power lines out (last January they were ripped off the poles after a huge winter storm and the neighborhood was without power for 4 days) can mess things up for people--and kill kittens.

This ancient gentle giant rests comfortably in the care of our shaded front yard; all 4 1/2 foot diameter and 14 1/2 feet long. On the side yard rests a 3 1/2 foot diameter section 24 feet long. Old growth redwood just dropped from the sky and this carpenter/artist/ poet has much work to do.

Can anyone in my area help this semi-poor handyman/ hillbilly with a 54"chain saw and Alaskan mill?
