Latter Day Morning

Soaked in the valiant dew
Of morning, shaking, shaking;
A soft subtle hand on my brow
'Tis a lovingly spirit awakening;
A kiss on the forehead
An angel sweet softness;
Fragile hands of ever time
Gently warm my cheeks;
I can feel the wind down my back
And a trickle of light shaking my soul;
In deep winter I feel frozen timbers
Rattling to the spine of body-mind core;
Nature's awakenings grip me
Like a firm hand of great great grandfather;
Awakening me from a deep deep sleep
Into bright bright sunshine of eternal latter morn'
