once somebody tells me they're trying to "explore their spirituality" or they're a "spiritual" person, i start laughing at them in my head. i don't necessarily hate them, but a little "lol" soundtrack plays in my head while they're talking.

i think the word spiritual has negative connotations, likely due to religion.
i would never go around claiming to be spiritual, but i also think that making a point to not be spiritual or bash spirituality is like saying "i am ignorant of myself"

i dont "bash" it.
why? it just seems that everyone i meet who said things like this during casual conversation is an idiot. and not "spiritual" at all.
and it doesnt have anything to do with religion.
