But the main thing I've never understood after hearing all Soph's phony BullShit, is: if all your feelings are so true, as stated in your original manifesto, why didn't both of you leave your soul-less, unhappy marriages and hook up years ago. Especially so because now you have fully educated the other woman to be your spiritual wife, and to not have her original need of money and status. And you, soph, are not that happy with your real legal wife, who is not your best friend and not your true soulmate. She has wanted to leave you in the past, but is obviously dependent on you financially and to be able to keep her home. That is documented, dude.

I remember your abused wife was making noises about freeing herself from you about the same synchronous time as you started pushing your True Soulmate on to her. How refreshing to hear that it is all about "lifelong friends" now. It lessens the huge Bullshit factor to some degree, but the factor is still high.

This woman is either a wrestler or an earth mother spiritual wife or some combination of all three. She was attending the same Spiritual Wife Reunion that Sophy's Ex-Spiritual Wife was attending. Apparently she is describing to a friend of Soph's Ex's just how close she came to being Sophie's Spiritual Wife a few decades before. A Coffee Emporium friend of mine says it is more likely that the earth mother/wrestler was showing the photog the size of the young Sophy's penis. But that is only heresay and could not be confirmed as fact. (it's dangerous to lie about spiritual wives !)

Another thing: a true Minnesotan Spiritual Wife dresses primarily in black or dark navy blue. Is this cult apparel or something like Wiccans wear? In all the photos here, the women in white or red or any color other than black and dark navy blue do not fit the bill of a Minnesota Spiritual Wife. How Strange. I don't have to point it out that the coolest of guys hang with the Spirit Wives.

Sophie, thank-you, thank-you so much, for ending your sabotage at the Coffee Emporium. I cannot thank you enough for ending the daily long tedious interfering hours of your Big Head Radio Todd monologues. You played them over and over and over in our small shop for many years. It drove many of us to the point of insanity. We have had a great relaxing year with more enjoyment and fun partly because of this gift you have given us.

And to be fair, the times you've come in since last summer have been much better because the Radio Todd, 'Wonderful T-O-D-D on your Spiritually Fixed dial', is permanently turned off. Thank You !

Thank you also for ending your outstanding virtuous snide comments to regulars and workers. I really appreciate not having to hear how my friends are not as creative and non-conformingly independent nor as non-narcissistic in their thinking and creative behaviour as you are. I actually am the most grateful for this cessation.

We could have all possibly handled maybe one hour of Radio Todd daily. Even church services on average do not last much longer than one hour, and that's only once a week ! I've often wondered if your home was a more peaceful place than the Coffee Emporium because you got much of your 'narcissistic supply' hunting and fishing and gathering out on us, so you could relax more at home and the workshop. I would hope for your family's sake, this was the case. Is it hard to get much narcissistic supply at home ?

One hour of your delusional or, even, merely exaggerated grandiosity sessions, the free and smiling Radio Todd Big Head programs, would have been MORE THAN SUFFICIENT for you to extole us of all your outstanding personal virtues---to one and all who would listen. I think we could have handled that, as we do with other customers who are very full of themselves. The workers, who were forced to listen, as a captive audience to the perpetual Sophie Big Ego Radio Todd programs almost every single day, extend to you the biggest of thanks for the 'Project's' end. You have shown some progress in real life. It's doubtful that you've shown any at all on Kitty Radio.

For example, you and High Class Ho are both stuck in the same mental model. HCH's obsession is his belief that he is imperfect because he is 'unfuckable'. He gave himself an epiphany enema by declaring that he wasn't so bad and unfuckable after all; in fact he declares himself 'fuckable', as he viewed Ophiel's uber cool pic of the bare naked guitar hero with a most harsh eye. HCH put Ophie down for playing the guitar with no clothes, claiming it was a pic of a lame act and that Ophie wasn't hot. This gave HCH his desperately needed revelation that, on the contrary, he was Fuckable, by God, because he believed the pic proved Ophie was not all that hot and fuckable.

Sophie's spiritual mental model psychology parallel to HCH Dolores Haze is pretty much the same. Soph is obsessed that he is some kind of a narcissist, but doesn't really want to believe it or try to deal with it. HCH Dolores will not really deal with and face his unfuckableness either. Soph is always talking about his 'narcissism' not being true malignant narcissism. It just appears he is a narcissist to his willful detractors because he is a self confident artist, with a healthy ego, displaying outstanding virtues that cause others envy. Sometimes when he is tired of it all he will patronize us with: " I own my narcissism and I own every other thing you think I am too."

This is like HCH always talking about how he's not really intrinsically unfuckable like others, but yes, he does appear to be unfuckable now because ignorant people think he is. But they're really wrong. It's just how people view him now because he runs in the wrong crowd and has had some bad luck and has low self esteem. It's the whole world full of misinterpretation of him. Just as the whole world misinterprets Sophie as being a narcissist, even though his daily efforts are to reveal himself as one by the way he pushes his egoic, hypocritical spirituality on us. HCH reveals and presents himself as unfuckable in his daily efforts as well, by the way he laments and whines about his hopelessness and helplessness. "Living To Die", his thread title sums it up.

Sophie sits on the bowsprit over the figurehead of this mental model boat, and HCH Dolores is laying, off the boards, in the stern bilge of this boat, the F/V Careful Carpnetter, reassuring his pet penis, by softly whimpering to it. But they're both on the same boat on the same heading toward the Sore-Asso Sea Doldrums.

I help out the owners and staff at the 'Coffee Emporium' being their 'Man Friday' for them. I've done maintenance and handyman work--planned and on the spot when things break down, run errands to pick up supplies and load and place them, helped clean and fold towells and rags and even bus sometimes, given workers rides, and kept an eye on the shop during its hours and even after hours. Basically whatever is needed and lightens the load. Sophy liked to make a big deal out of calling me the bouncer, but that duty took up the least amount of time of all.

I was thanked for helping to lighten Soph_'s load on the shop's patience and tolerance. Generous forebearance was given him so that we didn't yell at him to get the fuck out of the shop and never come back. (a few guys did want to do that and I'm surprised it never actually happened in an ugly way) My ire was raised to it's highest point when he continually cut my friends down to prove that he was so superior. As you know he has a strong inferiority complex with which he uses to compare himself to the rest of the world. He is superior to PhD.'s, everyone with govt. or corporate jobs or private jobs, superior to pretty much everyone in his wisdom and knowledge of his supremacy.

Fortunately for Sophy, the Coffee Emporium is the kind of a shop it has always been:--very tolerant, almost to a fault. However, Sophy had the courage, finally, to self-exile; and it was very much appreciated. Perhaps one night, he heard Dylan's song words, " You don't need a weatherman to know which way the wind blows." I think a few people miss him, because they find him uniquely, oddly humourous and often don't have anybody else to listen to or anyone to talk about later.

The HOLY WAR continues though and if need be, we can break out our heavier weapons of light attack. All Spiritual weapons of soulful intervention though. We like to call it Spiritual Mud Shadow Projection. (Projection, not slinging, mind you.)


There was an unusual group of 86-ings this year when I took a trip to Alaska and Canada. The owner had to ban 5 problem people in about a 7 week time period. It was a much needed little house cleaning. They were taking advantage of the shop to the detriment of the customers and staff and peace and harmony of the place. Soph would have fit in very closely with the M.O. of two of the banned as their negative impact on the shop was almost identical to his, but didn't go on near as long as soph's did. Months instead of years. We all learned from Soph not to suffer for years and years when you do not have too.

Soph minded his manners when he came in more recently. I don't know how he would be now. It's un-nerving how narcissists can continue being the same their whole life, in the face of so much knowledge that people are uncomfortable with their B.S. personality disorder. They like to push their narcissistic evangelism until one day people stand up to them; then the humbled injured narcissists go away and sulk and pout and feel sorry for themselves. Holy War is the answer, because they must be confronted very firmly. They are not sensitive people who can pick up social nuances, recognise their faux pas and take gentle hints, much less mind-read as soph claims he does.

I feel very lucky when I get to test out new teas, chais, coffees and juices, or get to drink a 'mistake' drink. I try to be helpful and sometimes think of a good idea for the shop. I even got to run the cash register a few times, but I kind of sucked at that because it was hard to read the faded item buttons on the register and I let the pressure of the line get to me a little. The owners and the assistant manager and the great baristas are all good friends.

I never worked with Sophy because he was a regular customer. He was the same in real life at the Coffee Emporium and Tea Shop as he is on KR. His Radio Todd Big Head lesson monologues really wore on people. He doesn't think it hurt business at all, but we know it did some. IN Soph's heyday there were three or four customers who would listen and respond as Soph held philosophers' court. He did over 80 % of the talking perpetually, so it came off as rambling spiritual Sophy musings with the material focused totally on himself to make his points and give examples. He also gave lots of book reviews of his latest self-help or guru book.

I don't know how many seasons (probably three years or more) passed that we all had to hear about the amazing Mrs. G, his spiritual wife. I have a brilliant computer friend who was a regular customer. After tiring of Soph's schtik for one too many years he decided to do some research on Soph.

Using his great computer skills with me giving him some clues from what I heard day in and day out from Soph, we began to try to understand him. I had already studied narcissism for about nine years, so I recognized it when I saw it. Because Soph is so full of himself, the clues oozed out of his Radio Todd programs broadcast for us and in his marathon monologues to the few other philosophers. We were able to discover the identity of his spiritual wife and her famous retired T.V wrestler and all the photos. We also received in person examples of how he treated his wife, even though she did not frequent the shop very much. She came by a few times. Surprise of all surprises, she was very subdued and quiet in the long public shadow careful carpnetter cast. Soph never gave us any actual names, so it took a little work to track this info down. We had lots of time and computer power and the oddest of clues to go on though. A few times the infamous synchronicity power assisted us.

It became a fun real life soap opera when we discovered Kitty Radio. There aren't that many times when you can develop a fun interface between real life and an active online soapbox site that's so cool like K.R. Sophy may be more infamous than he thinks he is--in real life and online. Many customers and workers all shared interesting stories of interactions with Soph and we compared notes. Soph was in a very small fishbowl and stood out like a sore goldfish. The hooligans kept interested customers and staff abreast of the first pre-holy war findings. Lots of advice was given to the core group. We had a few psychologists advise us in the shop too. Most counselled us to go easy on him, but not to take his b.s. They did not want us responsible for a Sophy breakdown. About 5 or 6 folks started going on KR. to read, and a few of us went on to wind him up and see what he was all about.

I thought it was important to let KR'ers know that he was the same in real life as on KR.

I tried to always go for the humour, but some of the customers and a couple baristas wanted us to just kick his ass out of the shop. Many people just got so tired of his B.S. and the fact that he never learned better social graces that they ignored him or would leave the coffee shop when he was there. The owners didn't even want to deal with him, and eventually asked me to be the one to inform him when they needed to get a message to him. We had to make a small sign asking everyone to please not stay on the easy sofa chairs for more than 2 hours at a time so that all could use them. This was asked of me and the assistant manager to write because soph and his homeless woman friend held the chairs for about 8 hours one day. She and we had to listen to an 8 hr. monologue all about sophy. Keeeeerist it was over the top. One of my friends, Governmento, held his ground well, and told Mr. Sophia_ to get lost when he insisted on always being phoney by saying, Hi Governmento. And eventually Sophy did get lost. But he'll be back. Narcissists thrive on the drama and can not stay away for long.

The Kitty Radio front, as the central front in the Holy War on Soph, was the key to finally having it dawn on him that he is a daft cunt IRL and on KR. DirtyPlotte so succinctly called him a 'daft cunt' on Oph's thread, 'Who Do You Forgive Today ?', and she doesn't forgive him for being one either. I'm with her on that !!!

Since we're having so much fun with photos here at the Sophy Holy War thread I thought I would post a very cool one of Soph's son taken at the awards, when his buddy on the top platform, won his first Expert downhill mountain bike race. Soph_'s son is the racer on the right step of the 3 tiered platform next to the guy standing beside the platform. He is an awesome young man. He doesn't come by the Coffee shop, as far as I know. We could use the extra business now that Soph doesn't come in for his pot of green tea and a nice cozy monologue. I wish his son would check out the shop, 'cause I'd like to buy him a Larry's Famous Chai Latte. In fact I would like to give him a gift certificate for some drinks anytime he comes in.
