The Healer: Escaping the Matrix: Caution!!

Okay, Rancheria is correct--I should offer links, and credit to sources, and include the credentials of these sources when known. We do live in a credentialed world where the upper heirarchies are filled with people of higher complex-thinking abilities and linguistic skills--right??

This is a dangerous link to take, so.......

Don't say I didn't warn you.....

Quote:
Are only "complex-thinking & linguistic" people "outside" "the Matrix" (what about simple/practical people with simple/practical needs & what about languages/cultures other than English)?

But intelligence says nothing about your spiritual strength - it just helps you avoid sliding down the chute by being a sucker to ploys you don't have the awareness to foresee, though only if you apply it that way.

There are many who don't. Look at intellectuals who are weak as putty in the hands of a Matrix-orchestrated manipulation, who can understand research papers but cannot fathom that Bush is anything but a blessing.

Then there are simple and practical people who have strength of heart to withstand anything. All intellect does is expand your available choices for growing your potential, but does not guarantee it. Without the heart that even (and most often) practical people have, including those of any language because language is irrelevant to your question, spiritual evolution cannot happen. And it's spiritual evolution that allows you to outgrow the Matrix.

Not forever, no. But until one transcends the hedony one is "condemned" to maintain that state of consciousness and to experience the effects of it in materiality. Not all the effects are known to the 'hedonist' nor recognised as self- caused when they are. There is a point where spirit will not remain consciously manifest in human beings... a vibratory point, below which spirit will not strive with flesh and withdraws. Survey the world and it's inhabitants. There are many spiritless beings maintaining a spiritless construct in many areas of life. They are not the instrument for the works of the spirit. They have gone their own way for so long, ignor- ant of the will of the spiritual Self that the desire of the lower- ego has become the only guide. Hedonism dulls the spiritual senses and tends to divorce one from the knowlege of Self and IT's will. The spiritual Self desires to actively express ITself in our mind and emotions. If these are filled with self- concern in all it's lower forms then there is no room in the inn of being for the christ spirit to be born... to mature and to show what that inner trust really means.

of course they probably wont take you because of your total dumbass routine. they weed out the crazies.
I found a Vipasanna Meditation Center called 'Spirit Rock Meditation Center' up in Marin county. You've got to check out the website!! They will not turn away anyone for lack of funds, have sliding fee scales, and will do a work exchange for daylong classes, special events, and longer residential retreats. You could build them something nice during your residential retreat. And that would be wonderful for you: a residential retreat. A residential retreat would be something beyond reading, talking, and posting for you. I'm sure the Spirit Rock Buddhists could use some 'careful carpentry' in exchange for teaching, even for just some daylong programs. My sister-in-law went there and loved it. I asked her if she found any dumb asses there. And she said, "no, I don't think so. I think the dumb asses are more likely the ones to keep themselves from going to open up their door to inner peace." "So, the dumb asses are all locked up in their dumbassness?", I asked her. "I think so--I think your friend Sophia_ would not be a dumbass for going to Spirit Rock--definitely !"
Sophia, you could also check out Vajrapani Institute in Boulder Creek. That one is much closer, but it may not have the low fees and work exchange program. So, it's up to you and cc if you want to try some other path to enlightenment. Everyone says you are just on your beloved Red Dot path of enlightenment, but I say, hey give Sophy a chance !! He will tire of that Red Dot Dumbass Path eventually and then we'll all say: "You Go Girl !!!"
The serenity you could bring back with you and keep with you always that you learned up in Spirit Rock could ease your manic anxiety and disordered manic delusional paranoid thinking. Ranch says he is quite sure you have manic episodes to help bring out your narcissism and paranoia--but I don't know you well enough to say. (I guess that is a little deeper than dumbassness !!) You could do this for less money than taking psychotropic drugs for your mania/depression, if that is the case. I've heard that you were on meds at one time. Is that true.
Just trying to help. You seem to need all the ideas you can get. I think DirtyPlotte did come up with a good idea for you. Try a meditation center and see what happens. You have nothing to lose. Good Luck !!

Sopia_.......I went on to the Spirit Rock website and found out there is a local group close to you that is part of the Spirit Rock community. The phone number is 425-3431

The website is: Vipassana Santa Cruz

There you go dude ! I just asked Ranch if he thought it would be an elightening idea of passing the hat for a donation for your meditation fees. He said he would chip in if Sophia_ would actually go do it. I said I would put in a few bucks since you haven't been working much, and I would pass the Sophia enlightenment hat around the Coffee emporium.

Rancheria stronlgly said that, first, Sophiadin "would have to apologize for that online crack he made" about "and his father is not looking too well these days either." He says he is still pissed off about that because he and his family have gone through so many ups and downs and concerns and years of effort including Ranch being a health advocate and caregiver and county conservator for his dad. He says he is so thankful that his Dad is still struggling to hang in there. He told me his family has been dealing with his Dad's poor health for over 10 years.
He says it shows a mean-spirited streak to imply that his father was about to die and to post it in an offhand, dumbass, douchebag way to make it look like Ranch would be inheriting money soon. Ranch said that, for an enlightened spiritual synchronicity person to make a statement that insensitive, shows Sopy needs "a lot of meditation to cure his hurtfullness." And he said, "even a dumbass wouldn't write something like that because a dumbass doesn't know how to push those sensitive buttons---a dumbass doesn't even have that much ingrained mean ass sophistication to know how to do that, to naturally know how to hurt someone like that."
Ranch says that's Sophy's main focus--putting people down to raise himself up and being hung up majorly about money, or else he wouldn't have said what he did about Ranch selling his ranch and not having to work again, and his Dad looking like he was about to die. especially when Sophy didn't know squat about the situation.

He says he forgives Sophy for being a 'shit stirrer', because he doesn't know that much about life and heart. However Sopy being a father himself, he just doesn't get it about Sopy. But yeah if he gave Sopy money and the little red dotter didn't end up going to learn to meditate he would have to get all freaky with Sopy. Karma would have his way with Sophy and turn off the synchronicity experience for Sophia and Sopy would be deeply depressed if he ripped off our charity.

the meditation centers associated with the one in dallas are free. you ca donate afterwards if you want, but its not required and they dont want you to donate beforehand. they ideally want you to donate based on what you think it was worth.
