| | | I think they're not so creepy when you don't read the writing. But I still don't advise anyone looking at them in the dark, alone! |

"Reverend K.F. Lord took a picture of the altar at his church in North Yorkshire, England (why are the GOOD ghosts always found in England?) and this is what came out."
I knew his grand-daughter Jessica and I had a feeling that photo would be in the top 10 when I clicked on the link. She always used to show it off printed in a book and be all "my great-grandad took this" the original pic is bigger and there are 2 people sat in a pew on the right.
She was a viscious piece of work and it's just set me on edge thinking about her, but I thought I'd share.
I love pics of ghosts and orbs. One of my brother's wedding pictures is of him and his bride stood in front of a mirror and there's a completely white women in the mirror behind them. Me and dad thought it was awesome but mum freaked-out. I'll try to get a copy up here to see what you make of it. |

| | | Okay so I'm a firm believer in ghosts. I've seen them, blah blah blah
BUT. I honestly don't understand the fear behind them. Obviously there are malevolent ghosts, but they're supposed to be less common.
Maybe it's just the fear of the unknown? Or the straight up creepiness of it all? Someone with a fear of ghosts explain this to me.

| | | My eyes always water when I see these
I feel retarded, but I think the whole mystery of the unknown behind them is one of the most beautiful things in the world. |

My friend took this photo and sent it to a few websites then they STOLE it and put watermarks on it. I know she took it though cause she sent it to me without them.

Maybe it's just the fear of the unknown? Or the straight up creepiness of it all? Someone with a fear of ghosts explain this to me. | Well, I believe in spirits that try to interfere with people's lives. You know, they try to influence how people think, what they think about, what they worry about, what they say, even. What choices they make. What they do on any particular day, and when. Some of em are mischievious ... I know one, she is mischievious--her true nature I dunno ... some people might call em demons. Whether they are demons, angels, ghosts, whatever, I dunno their true nature, that is, why they do what they do, where they come from, etc.
Then they got those ghost tapes... you know, random words caught on blank tapes ... those get boring fast, and they're so easy to fake, but for some reason, lotsa people buy into them ......
I see yer point though, the standard idea of a ghost seems quite harmless... I mean, a transparent image drifting about, no interaction with the real world otherwise, that kind ... . Maybe fear of death! Fear of what's after death ... Fear of loss of control ... loss of sanity ... uhm ... fear of being hurt! Being taken over ... loss of self ... All that.
Should be ez to make one... I gotta make one. You know, just photoshop something together, but if I do it, I want it to be half-decent...... maybe with ectoplasm ... I always liked the idea of ectoplasm exuding from the finger tips... heh ... ...
