| I know this is a bit new-agey-spiritual for you, but many at the coffee emporium are just that way.

The emotions such as anger, hatred, and envy are personal indicators of an imbalance in the psychic health of the individual. One projects blame outward to protect the repressed nuerotic ego from facing further uncomfortableness or injury. Gratitude and forgiveness are conscious actions that work to heal narcissistic injury and other disorders manifested from a denied self-loathing. The source of love, of course, comes from within: first one must love oneself before the world benefits. People seldom treat others better than they treat themselves, except when they want to gain something .

So you've stepped on a wildflower; you've squished a butterfly; discouraged a free spirit. You didn't create anything of beauty, or originality; great men of history have destoyed beauty in the attainment of power numerous times-- but the spirit still lives on. The anti-christ in you is self-destructive--who will be there for you when the poetry in you has died?

So you've stepped on a wildflower; you've squished a butterfly; discouraged a free spirit. | for a supposed free-spirit and wildflower, your thinking is perculiarly rigid and your response to criticism a tad reactionary
considering youve always tried to portray yourself as someone who encourages the free exchange of ideas, and is open to them, your reaction when these exchanges occur is hard to fathom. everyone must be questioned it seems, except for you. |

He needs an audience who will let him do the lengthy presentation of his retarded world views. He thinks I am soon to be rich. What a joke!!! And won't have to work again ??
I wonder what he will think when he sees me still driving the same old faded oxidized 26 yr. old Audi year after year?? It seems he also believes my Dad will soon pass on and leave me a nice inheritance. He certainly doesn't know my Father or his health and situation,---another ex-military man like myself, who is a self-made man and didn't inherit a dime.
Well, when you have to grudgingly work for rich women as a poor, humble handyman, a thankless task, it makes living a Narcissist's life even more spiritually necessary. I hope it doesn't make all the grass greener on the other side.
I can't use any of Sophiadin-s suggestions for new philanthropic pre-occupations. Narcissists generally believe everyone is like them and everyone suffers like them, so I'll leave it to the narcissists to follow their own 'Guardian Angel' charitable, graceful path. Besides how could I take any Sophiadin_ advice as to how to be charitable? He does very little for nothing. He even requires to be paid by the hour, so he always comes out paid for every minute. He doesn't have to worry about being off on a bid, and missing out on anything. And he doesn't have to, or need to work faster, harder, or more efficiently---to come out better by taking a bid. So no accidental work charity will be squeezed out of the Sophiadin_ !!!! He can talk all he wants and not miss a dime, by the hour. No sirree Bob.
Actually, now that he doesn't frequent the Coffee Emporium, Sophiadin_ should have more time to go down by the river and find an audience with the homeless---especially if he buys them a drink. And who knows, he might find one that his wife would approve of--- to get some more Federal/county Section 8 rent income from. That's a sweet way to be charitable and get an audience and a possible new devotee. It's worked before !!! A win-win situation for a working man narcissist. If there ever was one !!!
He has not the common charity in him to listen to anyone, or hear what they are saying. He is not kind enough to himself to allow his life to teach him much about his true self. Hence his blind obedience to his Narcissism. You know what they say about the 'blind mole'. DirtyPlotte figured that one out, as we are daily reminded.
Which reminds me, I wish the Sophia_man would be less spiritual and more capitalistic by raising his handyman rates---especially if that would make him whine less and end the constant comparisons of himself to wealthy, ignorant people. Anything to help him feel less sorry for himself.
Well, if Sophiadin_ had ever been able to have a real conversation with me, he would have known a little something about me long ago. He was too busy trying to 'TEACH' me though.
He would have heard about my land, where it was, about my love of flying, my love of fishing, and maybe a little about my Dad and my family. But he never gave me the chance to offer anything about my life, as do all my real friends. That's why he has to guess about everything, didn't know what state my land was in, or if I even had an airplane or still flew---nothing at all about me, or anything about my family. Impossible to learn when you are a narcissist---and it's always all about you and your retarded world view.
He just imagines with grace, if he wants to figure out anything about me or any other 'Coffee Emporium' regular. Gee, I sure seem to know much more about he and his family and his narcissism. Imagine that !!!! |

| | | Nah, he does work charity. Haven't you read about how much the rich women love his conversations about spirituality, and how much they hate their husbands for being rich and hanging around with stupid people who always coincidentally reflect the views of whoever he happens to have been insulted by last. |
