The government can regulate by making background checks on church leaders and posting that information to the public so they can be informed instead of being in the dark |

Because if so, then you've just confirmed exactly what I was saying - that sensible governments allow religious freedom. If not, I'd like to know exactly which book I should read that will tell me that a government has never used its laws to restrict religious freedom, because I would quite like to read it.

People are no longer naive or as afraid of any such accusations and priests don't have anywhere to hide and tried like everyone else. People don't treat them like gods like they did 50 years ago.. |
