anyway, the idea is that
between people who research the human genome and other edge science types, it has been determined that the number of DNA strands is not two, but twelve.

it didn't just "shoot up" overnight, it's been twelve forever. but the idea is that what science has called "junk" dna has actually been suppressed genetic material -- and that until and around the time of the Human Genome Project and OTHER more edgy scientific researchers -- science figure that the DNA was the two basic strands. according to recent findings, very recent -- inside the "junk" DNA is...everything.
