| my husband would normally say, "when they are dead, they are dead!"
and i dont know, i havent really witnessed a ghost around the house, never even sensed anything. but everyone else, except for me and my husband, have seen one or more passed by them.
we live in my grandpa's house who inherited it from his parents, who must've inherited it too from their parents. its an old old house. people were born(not literally), raised, and died in this house.
a friend of my grandmother said that there are others who live with us here, most of them, she said, are girls. but i dont really know. my uncle often hear voices in the kitchen, and sometimes he would see a man walking to the powder room; sometimes he would run after that figure assuming that it was an intruder or something, but as soon as he gets to wherever that intruder went, no one's there.
my sister said that she saw a man, through the mirror, standing behind her. and this happened a couple of times. sometimes she would even sleep with the lights on.
so much has happened in this house. my grandmother doesnt even know that i know most of them. when i was a li'l grrl, i would ask her about how my grandfather died, she would just say, "he forgot to breathe." and i believed her so bad. but sometimes she would sigh and say, "oh stan, why did you leave me?" and i just couldnt understand. until one day, a teacher of mine in high school asked me if it was my grandfather who shot himself in the head many many years ago. and i didnt answer cause i didnt know, til i told my mom about it. then she told me everything. its sad. too sad sometimes. because of that one instance, everyone's life became miserable.
my mom is in the states right now. i live in the philippines. about 5 years ago, she had a surgery, she almost died in it, for 3 secs she lost her vital signs. but luckily she recovered. after a week more in the hospital, she went home. one night, she got up to get a glass of water. she sensed someone else with her, she ignored it cause she knew, just like when she was in the hospital, it was her dad watching over her. when she went back to bed, she left her slippers by her bedside, and when she woke up the following morning, the slippers was neatly placed by her door. it kind of spooked her cause she lived alone. but then again she knew it was daddy (thats what we call my grandpa). many other instances like this happen in our everyday lives. unfortunately (or luckily), i never encountered any of these... actually i dont want to.
gee, i didnt notice how long this ended up to be. |
